ONLINE ASSESMENT OF PROGRAMMING ASSIGNMENTS IN A LEARNING MANAGMENT SYSTEM AHyCo
Abstract
This paper considers automatic online tests that represent the most frequently used knowledge evaluation method in e learning, especially with large groups of students for which teachers spend much time correcting homework and tests. Since it is of the great importance that students of computing and informatics get some practical knowledge in programming, an authoring environment for online tests is required. This paper describes a system for automatic evaluation of programming assignments implemented in the AHyCo system (Adaptive Hypermedia Courseware). System architecture as well as a new approach towards creating, delivering and evaluating programming assignments is presented.Downloads
