DESIGN OF THE ROTORDYNAMIC TESTBED WITH ACTIVE MAGNETIC BEARINGS
Abstract
In this paper, the design procedure of the rotordynamic testbed with active magnetic bearings is presented. Special emphasis is given to the realization of testbed optimal modal characteristics with the goal of achieving favorable conditions for active magnetic bearings control system design. In the paper are presented results of the testbed free vibration finite element analyses as well as the results of experimental tests of elastomeric vibration isolators stiffness characteristics and corresponding testbed rigid body modes.Downloads
