Testing ceramics inserts at irregular interrupted cut on material 14MoV6
Keywords:

This article deals with the test of removableceramic cutting inserts during machining with anirregular interrupted cut. Tests were performed ona lathe, with a preparation which simulated aninterrupted cut for us. By changing the number ofslats mounted in the preparation, it simulated aregular or irregular interrupted cut for us. When ithad four slats, it was a regular interrupted cut, whereas the remaining three variants were alreadyirregular cuts. This paper examined whether itwould have an irregular interrupted cutting effecton the insert and possibly how it would change thelife of the inserts during an irregular interruptedcut (a variable delay between shocks).Downloads
