BASIC APPROACHES TO TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND THE FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS OF EXCELLENCE

Abstract

This paper reviews the basic approaches to total quality management, TQM, Fundamental Concepts of Excellence in their basic form and the criteria of quality award models for achievement of TQM. The Fundamental Concepts of Excellence provide us with the framework for achieving TQM, and they are based on the principles of TQM.
